As it stands now, O-House, is a college dormitory for Savannah College of Art and Design. The project was based on developing a modulation that could be arranged to fit the existing footprint. My design was influenced by large concrete drainage pipes, I reinterpreted the pipes to different modular shapes that could stack on one another and use the walls as structural elements. The city of Savannah, GA is full of green squares and open spaces through out its gridded plan. With this in mind, I tried to open up as many spaces in the building as possible so that it could speak the same language ad the city.
